Insulation
The Solar Cable is insulated with high-quality Cross-Linked Polyolefin (XLPO) or
Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) material, designed to deliver excellent electrical and
mechanical properties under extreme environmental conditions. The insulation provides superior
dielectric strength and maintains high performance even at continuous operating temperatures up to
+120°C. It offers exceptional resistance to UV radiation, ozone, moisture, and weathering,
ensuring long-term durability in outdoor solar installations. The insulation is flame retardant,
halogen-free, and emits very low smoke in case of fire, making it safe for both indoor and outdoor use.
Additionally, the insulation retains flexibility, prevents cracking over time, and is available in
distinct red and black color options for easy polarity identification in PV systems.
